School research
Find the provider you need—then investigate the school.
Mercury does not rank schools or sell leads. Start with the official FMCSA Training Provider Registry, then compare cost, training, equipment, contracts, and state requirements yourself.
Your school-search plan
- Open the official FMCSA Training Provider Registry and search your location and required training type.
- Shortlist at least three providers that actually offer the component you need.
- Verify applicable state licensing/education requirements separately; federal TPR listing is not a quality endorsement.
- Contact each provider for total cost, actual driving time, class size, equipment, schedule, refund policy, financing, and any employment commitment.
- Enter the answers into Mercury's school comparison worksheet before signing.
What TPR listing means
FMCSA requires ELDT providers to be listed on the Training Provider Registry for the training they provide. FMCSA states that it does not approve or certify providers; listing should not be treated as a government endorsement of school quality.
